Lil Jon has always known how to get the party started. From throwing house parties to making the clubs bounce, he made a name for himself as a hype man. Lil Jon was discovered by Jermaine Dupri while he was dj'ing at a club in Atlanta. Knowing talent when he saw it, J.D. immediately put Lil Jon to work producing hits for So So Def. After grinding as a producer for many years, he found success as an artist with his group, The Eastside Boyz when they released their first album, "Get Crunk, Who U Wit: Da Album," in 1997. Five albums later, they're still destroying the charts. Even after all the fame you can still find him behind the turntables, dj'ing at clubs around the world, "That's my foundation. That's how I got started."
He may have busted on the scene with music, but it was only a matter of time before he broke down Hollywood's door. His explosive personality landed Lil Jon roles in Date Movie, Scary Movie, and Boss'n Up. He has gone on to conquer the TV Airwaves starring in several commercials, guest starring on The Chapelle Show, Wild N Out, MTV Cribs, The Andy Milonakis Show, the NBC game show Identity and co-hosting Pimp My Ride International along with Fat Joe.
We caught up with the king of crunk during a photo shoot with a bully named Casanova (91 To The End Kennels). During the photo shoot with Nova, Lil Jon broke it down about his love for dogs. "You know they been around us since I was a kid. I am from the South so you know we love Pits, Dobermans, Rottweilers and Boxers." He went on to say that even though pit bulls are portrayed in the media as vicious animals that you should keep your children away from, he doesn't agree. "One thing about them that I noticed is that they are loyal and they'll fight for your family to the end. I noticed pits love kids, too.
